Godrej & Boyce
The showroom is B2B space designed to showcase products made by Godrej. The space is created such that it reflects the brand philosophy and gives a sneak peak into the rich heritage and history of Godrej & Boyce as an organisation with legacy. The objective was to treat the showroom as an experience space for the people to understand the brand ‘Godrej’ and interact with the displayed products.
Environment
The space is a metaphorical representation of a street. There are various zones created for display of different range of offerings like institutional, healthcare and home furniture. A grey pathway goes right from the front of the showroom to the back connecting these zones. The products in each zone are displayed against real context to give a better functional understanding. There are information boards hung through a flexible system from the ceiling that gives information about the products. There are circular nodes created at the junction points on the pathway. This nodes acts as a product display and guides the customer towards different zones. A small cafe at the corner of the space becomes a conversation point among the businesses over a cup of coffee. The staircase wall represents a timeline of landmark products from the brand as one climbs up to the upper floor. The same street concept is carried to the upper floor of the showroom.
